Adrian Hayward is an extremely prolific and awarded commercial director renowned for his quirky comedy and performance direction on campaigns such as XXXX Gold, Qantas, Telecom NZ, Yellow Pages and Bonds.
He has been Chairman and judge for Awards in Australia, Europe and the USA and has been Australian Commercials Director of the Year twice. He was named by B&T magazine as one of the most influential directors of the decade.
As well as commercials which he continues to enjoy making, Hayward wrote and directed Sydney’s celebrated presentation to win the 2000 Olympic Games, has recently filmed in the studio with INXS on their making of their new album and appeared as Director and judge on Australia’s Next Top Model.
Recently he has been in demand for projects which feature beautiful food, often collaborating with his partner, food stylist Alex Tofield. This partnership has encouraged their shared passion for beautiful food presentation, which has benefited a growing list of clients including Nestle, Masterfoods, Kraft, Uncle Toby’s and Australian Beef and Pork.
Hayward has also co-written and directed a cooking series with popular ex-Masterchef cook Marion Grasby, featuring traditional recipes, filmed in her family’s village and on locations across rural Thailand.
