Michele Aboud is best known for her striking beauty and portrait images depicting simplicity with aesthetic strength. Establishing her presence in editorial and advertising, Aboud has evolved her style in front and behind the camera with the steady hand and vision that experience brings.
Her personal work ranges from portraiture to dance.
Aside from advertising clients such as Lancôme, VISA, Singapore Airlines, Thai Airways, and Nokia, her work has been published in Vogue, Interview US, Elle, Harpers Bazaar, Rolling Stone, Noise, Oyster, KAREN, Koncierge China, and Manuscript.
Aboud’s sitters have included subjects from Frank Stella to Cate Blanchett and Hugo Weaving. Her portraits are now part of the permanent collection of the National Portrait Gallery in Canberra. Aboud has been selected for the Taylor Wessing Portraiture Prize, National Portrait Gallery in London.
Her work has been shown in Sydney, Toronto and London in nineteen international exhibitions like Amnesty International’s Masters of Photography and the Nelson Mandela Art for AIDS Orphans.
Aboud graduated from the Photographic College of London.
